GET PEPPED FOR PROM PREP

Tips to help make the prom experience easy and stress free.

One of the pinnacle moments in a teenager’s high school experience is the ever-so anticipated prom! Although the actual dance lasts a few hours, there is much preparation time put into attire, photos and promposals. Below are some tips to assist in the stressful process of prom season and help students focus on the fun!

Attire

-Girls: For cheaper, yet beautiful, prom dresses, check out Lulu’s, Macy’s and Windsor.

-Boys: Do not plan on owning a tuxedo forever? Try renting a suit from stores such as Men’s Wearhouse and JoS. A Bank.

Photos

-Luckily, Florida has a variety of elegant photo spots, perfect for prom pictures. Students have taken photos at the Worth Avenue clock tower in Palm Beach, the Bethesda Cathedral in Palm Beach, or Harborside Palce in Jupiter, Florida.

Restaurants

-Get in contact with friends to converse whether they want to eat before, during or after the prom event. Be sure to agree on a restaurant and make a reservation. No one wants to end up with an empty stomach on prom night!

Other Tips

-Make Appointments in Advance!

Be sure to make any appointments, clothing alterations or restaurant reservations at least a week in advance.

-Do not Stress!

Prom is meant to be a fun and exciting experience. Things may not always go as planned. Go with the flow!
